Life Meter Comics

Life Meter is a collection of comics and cartoon art inspired by our love of videogames. It is intended to showcase illustrated tributes in a vast range of unique art styles, while maintaining respect for the characters and their gameworlds.

All characters are copyrights and trademarks of the respective videogame companies that produce them. Art was created not for profit and is used solely for artistic enjoyment.

"The Last"
My Zelda piece for the upcoming “3NES” show at Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. I’ll have prints for sale in their shop of this and my other 2 pieces (which I’ll post later this week).
I’m really glad I was asked to be a part of this show, my NES and its library of games has been one of the biggest artistic and creative influences in my life. I still play my NES regularly and drift off into imaginary worlds as I do so.

"Speed Run"
My last piece for the upcoming “3NES” show at Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. Prints will be on sale in their shop soon and I’ll let you know when!
Metroid was always this crazy mess of a maze to my young mind, but when I got to the dark abyss on planet Zebes…to the lava filled caverns leading up to Mother Brain, I knew shit was about to get hairy. And when a gang of Metroids comes up on you, you better pray you’ve got a lot of energy and missiles… or else.
